Welcome to the sought after unincorporated Russian River Valley, follow highway 116 towards the coast and you will find yourself tucked beside majestic redwood forests and legendary vineyards. There are many bohemian towns that follow along the 116, each of them having their own tight-knit community. Forestville is one such township; downtown consists of about 3 blocks of shops and restaurants. Home to the first powered sawmill in California, there is no shortage of history and charm. A short seven miles further down highway 116 will land you right in the heart of Guerneville, once known for its logging community and now just minutes from Korbel there is rustic beauty to enjoy.

Going out Highway 116 will take you to some magical places via car, but to truly soak up the beauty this Valley has to offer we suggest traveling the West County Trail. The West County Trail is just over five miles worth of walking path that connects Sebastopol to Forestville and Graton. Take a bicycle or go for a walk to soak up the crisp Sonoma County Weather and take in the calming views of the Russian River Valley. Neighboring the Russian River there is no shortage of outdoor adventures to be had. There are a number of beaches to enjoy, Steelhead beach is an ideal spot for sunbathing, kayaking, fishing or just floating down the river. Moms Beach and sunset beach river park are also great options to grab a spot and spend the day relaxing by the river. 
 

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The Russian River Valley is home to some incredible spots, the Russian River Pub was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and is famous for many of their dishes. Stumptown Brewery has a unique outdoor space overlooking the river, where you can enjoy locally crafted beers and delicious food. Forestville and Guerneville host a plethora of fun and quirky shops; Ideal Hardware has items you have been looking for but have never been able to find, Lucky Mojo Curio Co. is a magic store.
